Site Agent - Civil Engineering Having secured several very high-profile projects, this highly respected civil engineering business is moving into a dominant position in the UK market. Working in the sectors of Water, infrastructure and Structures they have created a reputation amongst their client base for being the contractor of choice. As a result of the sustained growth there is now need to recruit a Site Agent. Regarded by many in the industry as a progressive and forward-thinking business the successful candidate can expect fantastic projects to lead, in a supportive team orientated environment Position: Site Agent Sector: Civil Engineering Location: London Package: Negotiable Duties: * Managing site staff performance across the various locations or single site * Providing health and safety leadership to the operational delivery teams and promoting behavioural safety improvements * Ensuring that site teams rigorously adhere to the clients Life Saving Rules and reporting requirements * Complying with all relevant HSE legislation and the client Standards * Ensuring policies and procedures of the Rail Management System are fully discharged * Promoting and implementing sustainable business objectives * Supporting as required the estimating and planning process for specific schemes/region * Ensuring sufficient and competent resources are in place for the delivery of contracts and business and project objectives are communicated * Developing and maintaining programmes through the project life cycle and ensuring works are delivered against the contract programme * Leading the project risk management process and ensuring effective controls are established to support delivery of the project * Ensuring project opportunities are identified and realised to maintain and improve the commercial project performance * Promoting and maintaining effective client/stakeholder relationships * Upholding the core company values and inspiring and encouraging the same throughout the team Back Ground: * Either a Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in civil engineering or a construction related discipline * SMSTS or PTS or CSCS or equivalent * Track record in site/project leadership * Ability to communicate at all levels
