Audit Senior (Fully Qualified)

Cheriva Group is recruiting for an established, independent accountancy practice based in South West London, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit, accounting, and advisory services. The firm operates with a close-knit team structure while serving a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to mid-sized entities across multiple sectors. The Role We are seeking a fully qualified Audit Senior to join our client's growing audit team. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced auditor who is confident leading assignments, managing junior staff, and delivering technically strong audit work. This is not a portfolio management role at this stage, but offers clear progression for the right individual. Key Responsibilities * Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion * Prepare and review audit files in line with UK auditing standards * Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members * Liaise with clients on-site and remotely, building strong working relationships * Identify and resolve technical audit and accounting issues * Assist managers and partners with the delivery of assignments * Ensure deadlines and budgets are met across engagements * Support continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies Requirements * ACA / ACCA fully qualified (or equivalent) * Strong audit experience within a UK accountancy practice * Proven experience leading audits and supervising staff * Technically strong with a solid understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards * Confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships * Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 * Clear progression pathway to management * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Exposure to a broad range of clients and industries * Ongoing professional development We would love to hear from you if you feel this is an opportunity that you are suitable for and interested in knowing more about.
