Director of Clinical Services - Private Mental Health Hospital Full-time | 37.5 hours | London A leading private mental health and addiction hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across a 100-bed site offering adult, young people's and addiction services. You will oversee all clinical departments, ensure high standards of governance, lead on staffing and workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement across a diverse range of mental health and specialist services. This is a key senior role working closely with the Hospital Director, deputising in their absence and supporting the delivery of an ambitious clinical strategy. Key Responsibilities Provide operational and clinical leadership across all wards and clinical departments. Drive quality, governance and performance standards across the hospital. Lead workforce planning, clinical staffing and departmental budgets. Support delivery of the hospital's strategic plan and service development initiatives. Deputise for the Hospital Director when required. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Champion a safe, therapeutic, and high-performing clinical environment. Requirements Registered with the NMC. Significant senior management experience within a relevant hospital or clinical setting. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and clinical governance. Proven experience managing clinical budgets and leading multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrable track record in service development, quality improvement and innovation.
