The Role We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our skilled and caring team. You will: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver tailored learning and care Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a variety of complex needs Assist with communication strategies, sensory programmes, and personal care where required Create a positive, safe, and engaging environment that supports wellbeing and progress Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils to help them thrive emotionally, socially, and academically What We're Looking For You don't need SEN experience to apply-just the right attitude and willingness to learn! We welcome applicants who are: Caring, patient, and resilient Good communicators with a calm, flexible approach Team players with a passion for inclusion Willing to undertake training (e.g., Team Teach, Moving & Handling, communication support) Experience in a special school, care setting, or with complex needs is an advantage but full training will be provided.
