Post Room Administrator Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday Salary: £12.64 per hour Contract Type: Temporary Role Purpose The Post Room Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of incoming mail and payments. You will be responsible for opening, sorting, and distributing post, with a particular focus on handling donations received via cheque and credit card. Key Responsibilities Receive, open, and sort incoming mail daily. Identify and separate payments (cheques, credit card details) for processing. Ensure accurate logging and secure handling of all financial documents. Distribute mail to relevant departments promptly. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines. Assist with general administrative tasks within the post room as required. Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive financial information responsibly. Good organisational and time-management skills. Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
