Quality Inspector - Night shift - 2 positions

We are looking for Quality Inspector Night Shift 2 Positions to work in a busy manufacturing environment. Working hours: 39 hours, Monday to Thursday 19:30pm - 04:30am , Friday 2.30am - 7:30am Salary: £17.83per hour, plus 33% Shift allowance Benefits: * Competitive pay * Shift allowance 33% * Overtime available * Pension * 25 Days Annual Holiday plus 8 statutory days * BUPA * Long Service awards * Death in Service Purpose of role and key accountabilities: • To provide Quality and Inspection support for both existing and new business opportunities and to develop the Right First Time philosophy required to become a leading supplier of quality components to the aerospace industry; • Maintain quality control within the manufacturing process, in line with business standards and customer requirements; • Check and verify the compliance of components produced at all stages within business; • Support and promote improvement activities to directly benefit our products and manufacturing processes; • To work within cross functional teams to support business development, growth and improvement projects as required; • Complete First Offs and Batch Work. Core skills/attributes needed: • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; • Technical knowledge & experience within the aerospace sector preferred; • Competent in using the following equipment; verniers, micrometres, bore micrometers, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators); • Experience in a quality control environment preferred; • Working to ISO 9001; • Attention to detail; • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision; • CMM experience advantageous but not essential; • Practical Problem Solving skills
