This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong knowledge of metrology, precision measurement, instrumentation, CNC manufacturing environments, or related technical industries. You will play a key role in driving regional sales performance, nurturing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, engineering, machining, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow sales across the South West territory * Develop new business through strategic prospecting and lead generation * Build long-term relationships with customers including manufacturers, sub-contractors, and engineering firms * Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations, supporting customers in selecting the right metrology solutions * Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close orders to achieve sales targets * Maintain strong pipeline management through CRM reporting and forecasting * Work closely with technical and applications teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery * Represent the business at industry events, customer visits, and product demonstrations About You: * Proven sales experience within metrology, measurement systems, inspection equipment, machine tools, industrial capital equipment, or similar technical sectors * Strong technical understanding with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and production requirements * Confident communicator who can develop relationships at all levels – from shop floor to boardroom * Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable managing a regional field-based role * Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills * Full UK driving licence required What’s On Offer: * Competitive salary with performance-related commission * Company car or allowance * Pension and benefits package * Training and ongoing development * The opportunity to thrive in a respected and growing business with a strong technical offering Why Join?
