EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – ASAP / January 2026 Start Location: London, W2 (Porchester Gardens area) Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (Term Time Only) Pay: £105–£110 per day School: Mainstream Primary with a Dedicated SEN Unit A welcoming mainstream primary school in the W2 area, with a specialist EYFS SEN unit, is seeking an experienced and compassionate EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team either ASAP or from January 2026. You'll be supporting children aged 3–4 years old with ASD, working across two small classes of 9–10 pupils with an excellent 1:2 adult ratio. This is a highly supportive setting with a strong commitment to early intervention, communication development, and structured routines. Requirements * Enhanced DBS (required) * Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD * EYFS experience preferred (Nursery/Reception) * A calm, patient and nurturing approach * Confident working within structured routines and behaviour strategies Roles & Responsibilities * Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with ASD within the EYFS SEN unit * Assist with implementing personalised support strategies, including visual timetables and communication aids * Support children with early communication, sensory needs, and social development * Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to deliver play-based learning activities * Help maintain a safe, consistent and nurtured environment tailored to early years SEN needs * Support personal care routines when required * Build warm, trusting relationships with pupils and families If you’re passionate about early years and have strong SEN experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported, specialist environment.
