Health and Safety Manager

Part-Time Health & Safety Manager Location: Eastleigh Hours: 16-25 hours; can be flexible for the right candidate Are you passionate about creating safer, smarter workplaces? About the Role In this key position, you'll develop, maintain, and continuously improve Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) programmes across our site. This is a hands-on, influential role where you'll partner with teams throughout the business to ensure compliance, awareness, and a genuine commitment to safe working. You'll be the go-to expert for HSE guidance-leading audits, delivering training, maintaining accreditation, supporting emergency response, and driving 6S and continuous improvement initiatives. This part-time role offers flexibility, impact, and the opportunity to shape the future of our safety standards. What You'll Be Doing Implementing and monitoring HS&E programmes, policies, and procedures Maintaining external HSE accreditations and engaging with auditors and stakeholders Leading safety audits and ensuring corrective actions are completed Developing and delivering HSE training, including new starter inductions Driving 6S initiatives and carrying out system gap analyses Managing incident reporting, near misses, hazards and sharing KPI insights Participating in the site emergency response team Overseeing risk assessments and control of contractors What You'll Bring NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant professional HSE experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 Excellent communication, auditing, and training abilities A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to high standards Bonus skills (not essential): Experience in facilities management Experience within a LEAN / 6S culture Benefits Salary £50k pro rata Hours that work around you Opportunity to make a real impact If you're ready to make a meaningful impact-while enjoying the balance of a part-time role that fits around your life-we'd love to hear from you.
