CRM Marketing Manager £27.63p per hour - PAYE £37.72p per hour – Umbrella Full time 4 Month Contract Initially London / Hybrid – 20% onsite working We are working with a leading London-based Higher Education institution to recruit a CRM Marketing Manager to join their External Engagement department. This is a key role in shaping and delivering prospective student communications through Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring a personalised and seamless journey from initial enquiry to application. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRM specialist who wants to drive strategic and operational improvements within a high-profile university environment during an exciting period of CRM development and investment. The Role As CRM Marketing Manager, you will lead the planning, development, and delivery of targeted CRM campaigns, working collaboratively with teams across marketing, recruitment, brand, digital, and data insight. Your work will be central to creating audience-led content, optimising customer journeys, and using segmentation and behavioural insight to improve engagement and conversion across the applicant pipeline. Key Responsibilities * Develop, deliver, and optimise CRM email campaigns supporting prospective student recruitment. * Write clear, engaging, brand-aligned content tailored to different stages of the applicant journey. * Build and refine customer journeys using insight, segmentation, and behavioural data. * Conduct A/B tests and monitor campaign performance to drive continuous improvement. * Analyse CRM data, perform regular audits, and identify actionable insights. * Ensure all CRM activity complies with GDPR and industry best practice. * Work with CRM, digital, and technical teams on the development roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics 365. * Provide CRM training, create how-to guides, and support a network of CRM superusers across the institution. * Collaborate with advertising and digital teams to support integrated cross-channel campaigns. * Stay up to date with CRM and automation trends, recommending improvements and innovations. About You We are seeking applicants with: * Proven experience delivering CRM campaigns and end-to-end programmes (ideally within Microsoft Dynamics). * Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journey planning, and marketing automation. * Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders in a complex organisation. * Confidence analysing data and translating insights into actionable recommendations. * Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and an ability to communicate with diverse audiences. * Experience working in Agile teams and supporting new system or process implementation. * Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
