Job Opportunity: TIG Fabricator Location: Solihull | Department: Manufacturing | Reports To: Manufacturing Manager Pay Rate: £16–19 per hour | Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Join an Expert Manufacturing Team as a TIG Fabricator! Are you a skilled TIG fabricator with a passion for precision and aluminium work? We’re currently working with a busy Solihull-based manufacturing team looking for a confident TIG Fabricator who can deliver high-quality assemblies using a foot pedal. This is a hands-on role in a safe, collaborative, and fast-paced environment—perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft. What You’ll Be Doing: TIG welding and fabrication to the highest standard, especially on aluminium and stainless steel. Using a foot pedal for precise welding control. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately. Following all welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. Maintaining and using jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment effectively. Working independently or within a team to hit production targets. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop. What We’re Looking For: Skills & Attributes: Expert TIG welding and fabrication skills (aluminium essential). Comfortable and precise using a foot pedal. Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on quality. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with problem-solving capabilities. Safety-conscious and diligent in following best practices. Experience: Essential: Proven TIG fabricator experience, confident on aluminium. Desirable: Fabrication/fitting experience, lean manufacturing knowledge. Qualifications: Essential: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
