Our client, a leading consultancy operating at the forefront of land and environmental management, is seeking a talented and motivated Ecologist to join their growing team based in Tewkesbury. About the Role As an Ecologist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological advice and surveys across a range of infrastructure and development projects. You'll work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions for clients across utilities, transport, and renewable sectors. Key Responsibilities Undertake and coordinate ecological surveys (e.g. Phase 1/UKHab, protected species, habitat assessments). Produce clear, concise, and accurate ecological reports and impact assessments. Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction and post-consent stages. Provide ecological advice to clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice. Liaise with regulators, local authorities, and stakeholders as required. About You Degree (or equivalent) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Proven experience in ecological surveying, reporting, and project management. Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and relevant policy. Membership (or working towards) CIEEM or equivalent professional body.
