The Role You’ll lead and develop teams delivering essential front-line services — ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, people-focused role that requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and a passion for positive change. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage large teams, driving high performance and engagement. * Oversee resource allocation, safety compliance, and budget control. * Conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to all regulations. * Analyse operational data to identify and implement service improvements. * Champion innovation, sustainability, and a “right-first-time” approach. * Deputise for senior management and represent the service with key stakeholders. About You We’re open on your background — whether that’s public sector, private industry, or the armed forces — but you’ll need to show strong operational and leadership experience. Essential Requirements: * NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent Health & Safety certification). * CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – minimum national qualification. * Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams. * Strong safety management and compliance experience. * Excellent financial and resource management skills. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
