Production Operative

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company in North Plymouth that’s looking for a reliable Production Operative to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent, working 30 hours per week Mon - Thurs 7am - 3pm role – enjoy long weekends with Fridays off! What You’ll Be Doing: * Performing quality checks on products during the production process * Reading and interpreting component drawings (training provided) * Using measuring tools like Verniers, Micrometers, gauges, and jigs * Labelling, weighing, and packing components accurately * Allocating raw materials as needed * Generating and completing production paperwork using a computer system What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in a factory or production environment * Some knowledge of inspection or stores would be helpful * Confidence using measuring equipment and reading engineering drawings (or willingness to learn) * Basic computer skills * A strong work ethic and attention to detail Full training is provided – so if you’re eager to learn and grow, we’ll help you build your skills. Own transport required – the site is not easily accessible by public transport.
