Your Role As a Programme Assurance Officer in our Audit, Risk and Assurance Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects across Greater Manchester. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to provide high-quality assurance services to our Executive Team, engaging with Project and Programme Managers, technical experts, and senior stakeholders. Your focus will be on construction-led transport infrastructure projects, not IT systems. We’re looking for a versatile and experienced project professional with a strong background in construction related infrastructure delivery. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: * Solid experience across the full lifecycle of infrastructure construction projects, ideally within transport or public sector capital programmes * Strong knowledge of project and programme management tools and methodologies * A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations * Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels * The ability to work independently and collaboratively, using your initiative to deliver high-quality assurance services You’ll be comfortable working across a diverse portfolio and engaging with a wide range of professionals, from Project Managers and Technical Experts to Sponsors and Senior Responsible Owners. What we can offer you This is a permanent role with a salary of £47,539 - £52,866 depending on skills and experience.
